Steps & Threads was founded by Amy Yang, a passionate ProAm Latin ballroom dancer with two decades of experience competing in international ballroom dance competitions.
“Buying designer dresses for every competition can be incredibly expensive. If I need to spend a fortune on a second-hand designer dress, why not create a brand-new, custom-made one for less?”
Driven by her own experience, Amy set out to create a solution: custom-made, high-quality ballroom dresses at a more affordable price. Thus, Steps & Threads was born—providing dancers with the perfect dress for every occasion, without breaking the bank when new dresses are needed for a new season.
